BCR Color Terrazzo is a multi-chip terrazzo-look thin porcelain slab in 1000×3000×4.5mm. Unlike plain neutral terrazzo panels, BCR mixes fragments of varying sizes and tones — grey, white, beige and warm brown aggregates — reproducing the look of hand-poured Venetian terrazzo at a fraction of the cost and maintenance. The series is designed for kitchen islands, retail shop floors, bathroom walls and feature walls, where a patterned, textured surface adds visual interest without the sealing and upkeep of real cement terrazzo.

1. What is the difference between porcelain terrazzo and real cement terrazzo?

Real cement terrazzo needs sealing every 1–2 years and stains easily. Porcelain terrazzo is fired at 1200°C, is non-porous, stain-proof and never needs sealing. It reproduces the same aggregate look at lower cost and zero maintenance.

2. Can BCR slabs be used for kitchen countertops?

Yes. The 4.5mm panel can be laminated onto a substrate or used as a cladding over existing surfaces. It is heat-resistant, scratch-resistant and food-safe. For heavy-duty countertops, we recommend 12mm+ full-body slabs.

3. Can terrazzo porcelain be used outdoors?

Yes. With water absorption ≤0.1%, it is frost-resistant and suitable for exterior facades, entryways and pool surrounds. Specify the R11 anti-slip finish for floor use.
